Denny Hamlin Wins Royal Purple 200 @ Darlington

Denny Hamlin took his #20 Z-Line Designs Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing to victory lane at Darlington Raceway on Friday night. His teammate Kyle Busch finished in second. Hamlin gave crew chief Kevin Kidd his first win and Hamlin took his third win in the Nationwide Series race at Darlington. While The Track Too Tough Too Tame did cause alot of drivers havoc Friday night it was good to others. Brad Keselowski is the points leader going into Dover next weekend. ***Royal Purple 200 Nationwide Series Darlington Race Notes***

A rough night at Darlington for some drivers Brendan Gaughan spun on lap 3 and hit the wall. A multi car crash on lap 33 took out James Buescher, Steve Arpin, Scott Lagasse Jr and Joe Nemechek.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr also had another bad night cutting a right front tire and hitting the wall. Veteran drivers Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth were also collected in crashes ending there nights.

Brian Scott and Mike Bliss had separate issues getting into the wall. Justin Allgaier who has been on a roll as of late stopped at Darlington when he had a terrible night with tire failures and crashes.

The Sprint Cup Series Showtime Southern 500 is set for tomorrow night on Fox at 7pm from Darlington. Jamie McMurray is on pole and alongside will be Jeff Gordon for the 61st Southern 500.
