FC Gold Pride's Camille Abily Sidelined With Fractured Right Ankle

Lauren GreenMay 7, 2010

FC Gold Pride announced late on Friday evening that midfielder Camille Abily will miss the next four to six weeks with a right ankle fracture.  She sustained the injury on Wednesday night at training as the team prepared to host the Chicago Red Stars on Saturday May 8, 2010.

Team officials confirmed on Friday that Abily had suffered a non-displaced fracture in her right ankle.

"I'm very disappointed," Abily said of her injury.  "No matter what, I want to be there for my teammates and the fans.  I am going to work very hard to come back as soon as possible."
