Lawrence Taylor Arrested, Accused of Raping 15-Year Old

Former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor has just been arrested in New York and accused of raping a 15-year old girl.

The Hall of Famer supposedly beat and sexually assaulted the girl early Thursday morning in a Montebello, NY hotel room.

Taylor was immediately placed in jail once the police had him in custody and he has been charged with third-degree rape.

This is not the first time Taylor has had run-ins with the law. He was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident in Miami in November of 2009 and he has had several drug related arrests since retiring from the NFL in 1993.

Reportedly clean and sober since 1998, Taylor has tried to rebuild his image over the past decade by starring in films such as "Any Given Sunday" and "The Waterboy."

Taylor also appeared on television in "The Sopranos" and "Dancin' With the Stars," along with being a part of the video game series "Blitz: The League."
