Corey Wootton has arrived at Halas Hall still wearing his college number 99 and impressed both the media and the coaching staff with his character and working ethic.
After the first mini-camp day ended, Wootton was very optimistic.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"It went pretty well," the defensive end stated "I was working with coach [Rod] Marinelli and coach [Eric] Washington, doing a lot of defensive line drills, a lot of bag drills and special teams. Today was a good day I thought. I learned a lot. Coach Marinelli is a great coach and was teaching us a lot of pass rush technique, a lot about get-off (the line of scrimmage). Just learned a lot today, (so) I'm just trying to be a sponge and absorb everything." (via ESPN)
Wootton will have a tough competition considering that the Bears signed Mark Anderson to a one year contract and is currently sitting in the No. 41 spot in ESPN's Ranking The Roster 1-65 by Michael Wright while Anderson was placed at No. 24.
Nevertheless, coaches are confident that Corey will find playing time on the field.
Tim Tebow worked through mini-camp in his pocket presence and made some specific drills to help the first-round pick adapt to the NFL. But Josh McDaniels said that as he progresses he will let him be more himself.
"To me, there's not a carbon copy that's being sold around the NFL and saying, 'OK, that's our guy,'" McDaniels said. "I don't think we're looking to try to make anyone anybody else. Honestly, that's not what we're trying to do. We're just trying to get good football players that can help our team. If he rushes for two touchdowns on a Sunday at some point in his career, great, that's super." (Via ESPN)
As of his arm, McDaniels stated, "He's got good arm strength."
Something I thought it was odd was that on my last poll out of 158 votes; 91% of them thought that it was smart to draft Tim Tebow. Looks like while the media is skeptical, the fans are eager to see him on the field.
Ciron Black hasn't been signed yet which surprises me because he is one of the linemen out there and not one team has bother to pick him up? Incredible.
