Pathetic Display by Arsenal Cost Them the Game against Blackburn

Arsenal have lost for the third time in four league games, and have only won one game in their last eight games, thanks to a pathetic display by a disgusting Arsenal squad.

From the get go, it was clear that Arsene Wenger got it all wrong, the formation was terrible: Traore, Silvestre, Vela and that mediocre Fabianski, who desperately needs to leave this team once and for all.

The game started with RVP scoring a great header, making it his 10th goal in nine games against Blackburn, a record that shows what Arsenal have been missing.

And all anyone could ask from Arsenal was to not concede for the rest of the game, all anyone wanted was to beat a team that they've beaten 6-2 in the first half of the season, but even that was a little too much for this mediocre Arsenal team.

Wenger stated that Fabianski has put the terrible performance against Wigan behind him, and the Polish goalkeeper made a few decent saves, but afterwards, he scored another useless goal that he can add to his hall of shame.

Wenger needs to get at least one point from Fulham to guarantee that Arsenal finish in the top three, for if they finish in fourth place, they truly are worthy of being called "Abysmal."

Wenger decided to stick with Fabianski, and keep the faith in him, and Fabianski is making every Arsenal fan on the planet curse. This is a keeper that is so error prone he makes Almunia look like Oliver Kahn.

Wenger also played Traore as a left back, and Silvestre as a left centre-back, mainly due to the complete lack of depth that Arsenal have.

One would wonder if those two would ever get to play a single game in any of the other big-four teams.

Wenger also started Carlos Vela ahead of Eduardo, and despite Eduardo having a terrible season, one could easily tell you that Vela is the bigger flop in the two, and to add insult to injury, he excluded Fran Merida yet again, and the Spaniard looks like he might leave Arsenal next season, which would be a great loss.

For strange reasons, Wenger excluded Song, Clichy, Bendtner and Rosicky out of the game, and this is a bizarre decision, seeing how Arsenal haven't even secured third place yet.

And now, Arsenal must not lose to Fulham, one point would guarantee a third place finish in the league, but with only one victory in the last eight games, and losses to all the lower teams in the table lately, Arsenal fans are anything but comfortable as things stand.

Wenger has stated that he will buy, and that he has the money available at his disposal.

Arsene Wenger does not need to buy three or four quality players, he needs to buy one or two quality world class players, and one world class goalkeeper, and then he needs to buy five, six or even seven quality backup players.

The Arsenal fans do not feel safe with the likes of Silvestre, Traore, Fabianski and Vela filling in for the injured players.

When you look at the players coming out, and the players going in, you start to feel uneasy regarding the Arsenal team.

Denilson filling in for Fabregas is a bad joke, and has been repeated too often this season.

Also, having Almunia and Fabianski as Arsenal's goalkeepers is one of the main reasons the Arsenal fans might go as far as to stop watching football.

There is a reason they are earning endless nick names, such as "Dumb and Dumber," and "Tweedledum and Tweedledumber."

They're just not good enough, they cause havoc, they fail to communicate with the defenders around them, and they give way too many free goals.

Statistically, if Almunia or Fabianski were in West Ham, Wolves or Wigan, all of those three teams would have been relegated.

Wenger doesn't even need to look long or hard at those two players to realize they are causing Arsenal a lot of problems.

And the worst of all, what could possibly be the biggest insult in all of this, is that we actually pay them money.

While some people might argue that Almunia isn't all that bad, no one can even jump in defence of Fabianski, we have nothing against the kid, but he just isn't good enough to be at Arsenal. Arsenal need quality to win titles, and he isn't a quality goalkeeper.

Wenger also must not renew the contract of Silvestre, he must not wear the red and white jersey next season, while keeping Sol Campbell would be a wise choice.

Getting a great defender to replace Gallas is crucial as well, Wenger needs consistent players to save his team, and his season.

Only when Arsene Wegner acknowledges the wrongs of this campaign, only then will Arsenal win a a trophy.

Beating Chelsea and Manchester United, not losing any points against lower teams, especially in the closing stages of the game, getting a world class goalkeeper and having great backup players to fill in the void left by the likes of Fabregas and RVP, having Plan B and C in mind when the usual passing game doesn't work out, taking shots from outside the box, long passes and long throw-ins, playing ugly when needed, are all a must if Arsenal want to end the next season with a trophy.

Only then will Arsenal be worthy of being called champions in any competition.

And always remember what this club stands for, and what it represents to millions of people world wide.
