EPL Week 37: Preview of Monday's Games

Blackburn vs. Arsenal

Blackburn’s Samba and Emerton should be fit to play despite some recent injury concerns. This is good news for Blackburn as they host an Arsenal side, that despite having not been on the best of form, still looks far stronger than their own.

Arsenal are having serious doubts over the fitness of Arshavin while Denilson is out for the rest of the season. Although Arsenal have nothing left to play for, Wenger has said that he is eager to finish the season on a high note after having not won any of their last three games, which is Arsenal's worst run of form this season.

Wigan vs. Hull

Neither of these teams has anything left to play for with Hull doomed to be relegated and Wigan having just about secured safety. The only thing to play for is the chance to end the season on a relatively good note.

Wigan will be without the injured Thomas and Moreno although injuries at this point in the season are not likely to really concern the manager. Hull may see the return of Vennegoor of Hesselink as he would take the place of Altidore.

Hull have not won an away game all season, so a win here would certainly be uplifting even if it is little more than a consolation prize.

Wigan have only won once in their last five games, and judging by the two teams, it is unlikely to change as it seems very possible that this match will end in a draw.
