Chavo Guerrero: Sorry, Hornswoggle's Arch Rival Is Overrated By the IWC
Let me say it right off the bat: Chavo Guerrero isn't that good.
He's not a bad wrestler. There's nothing wrong with him. But there's nothing special about him either. If anything, he's lucky to still be feuding with the much more popular Hornswoggle.
Deep down inside you know it.

Chavo is way past his prime at 39 years old. His ability to fly is limited at best. He has little charisma, hardly any mic skills, a move-set that is slightly better than John Cena's, no size, and no special look. There is pretty much nothing marketable about him at all.
Looking back on his WWE career, his best gimmick was that of "Kerwin White." After renouncing his Hispanic heritage, he became a stereotypical white golfer from middle America, touting the merits of whiteness. Kerwin White got some good heel heat and cheap laughs for a while, but the gimmick fizzled out. Since then, Chavo has done nothing memorable, except maybe holding the defunct and worthless ECW title.
So why does everyone constantly complain about him jobbing?
I originally thought it was because everyone hates Hornswoggle, though I realize the answer is a lot more obvious:
He is Eddie's nephew.
Everyone misses Eddie. I miss Eddie. His charisma, his ability to entertain, his lying, cheating and stealing. Eddie was great. No, Eddie was a legend.
Chavo? Just another nothing special wrestler. Not an Eddie, not even in Eddie's league.
People do not like seeing him lose to a midget. But really, what else is he going to do?
Remember that wrestlers do not get pushed in a vacuum. If you give one guy a push, you are taking away TV time from another wrestler or diva. Considering almost every other wrestler on the roster is younger, more athletic, and possesses more mic skills, anything Chavo does is at the expense of a better investment.
If you don't want him jobbing to a midget, then what do you want him doing? There is no more cruiserweight division. There are too many poorly thrown together tag teams already, and there is a laundry list of better wrestlers in the IC/US title division.
Try as I might, I just can't think of anything for Chavo to do. The mid-card division is crowded already with guys like Miz, Morrison, Ziggler, Ted DiBiase, Drew and Kofi. Below them are guys like Evan Bourne, JTG, Shad, Carlito, Primo and many others.
Face it, there's no room for Chavo to do anything, except play around with Hornswoggle.
