Crusierweight Dilemma
Ever since retiring the Crusierweight championship, I feel alot of wrestlers are stuck wandering what goal they have to aspire to.
Wrestlers such as Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder, Yoshi Tatsu, Primo, Chavo and even wrestlers such as JTG and Cody Rhodes, are stuck in a division which doesn't exist anymore.
Bringing back the Cruiserweight belt would bring more talent, excitement and give some mid carders such as Evan Bourne a chance at some gold, because lets be realistic, most of the Crusierweights can't hang with the likes of Cena, Edge, Batista, Sheamus Etc.
Most of the Crusierweights now are wrestling to fill spaces in shows, mostly on Superstars, and very recently losing talent because of lack of air time. Slam Master J could have been good, with a good gimmick and a chance of gold. Also the super entertaining Jimmy Wang Yang, both have been released because of the lack of story lines for Cruiserweights.
It may just be me, but bringing back the Crusierweight division would be a sensible move, this would also help the younger talent be able to come through in the business, without being destroyed by a Sheamus like figure.
If not, I can see alot of the superstars resorting to TNA because of their excellent X division, which admittedly has gone down hill slightly after Hogan taking over, also losing Daniels wasn't so great for TNA.
Talent such as Evan Bourne will soon go back to their roots, and find somewhere else to go and win championships. We will all have to see in the near future what will happen to the outstanding crusierweights. As the days of Jeff Hardy, Jerry Lynn, Tajiri, Crash, Too Cool, Essa Rios, Dean Malenko, Billy Kidman and Kaienti are sadly gone.
I hope to see some improvement in the WWE for all Crusierweights, because i'd hate to see talent wasted.
Thank you for reading, comments and feedback is greatly appreciated.
