Mission Impazible is sired by Unbridled’s Song, who was a Grade 1 winner in his own right by winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile, Florida Derby and Wood Memorial. Unbridled’s Song has sired 12 Grade 1 winners. The dam, La Paz, was a multiple stakes winner on dirt but mainly in sprints.

As another horse from the Pletcher barn, Mission Impazible won the Grade 2 Louisiana Derby last out. And although he might seem out of class and bred to sprint, the surplus of speed in the field might set up for a horse with Mission Impazible’s closing style.
