Week 11 KEY NFL TRENDS - 'Play It Again'

The DirectorNov 18, 2007

IconAT FIRST GLANCE...there are games that always look 'Tasty' ATS in many publication as a 'Bullet' trend only to 'trap' upon further review. In 2006, The Director looked for the first time to clear the way for you to understand which team has the real 'ADVANTAGE' against the 'Trend'.  Week `10, The Director highlights 'Rich Man, poor man.':

Week 11 finds teams looking to 'play it again'.  the DETROIT LIONS, who had their roar go the birds in Week 10, but who took down the NY Giants in 2004 in New York 28-13, look to take advantage of a reelin' Giants squad? At the same time, the Bucs, who have gone 0-2-1 ATS in their last three versus Atlanta, look to 'play it again' as they did in late 2004 into 2005.  Garcia looking to turn the tide on the ATLANTA FALCONS defense who are allowing just 4.5 points per game to the Bucs in 2006.

11.16 With the GREEN BAY PACKERS thinking Super Bowl, they will be hoping they can 'play it again' and continue their 4-0 streak ATS against the Carolina Panthers who have gone 0-2 SU, 0-2 ATS versus the Packers over the last three years.  Entering as the Underdog in both those contests, Green Bay, who won by 10 points in 2004, before hitting a four game losing streak that year, will look to take advantage of whomever is commanding the ship for Carolina.
ADVANTAGE PACKERS

11.16 Outside of Pittsburgh, history continues to 'play it again' in the AFC North. Having defeated the BALTIMORE RAVENS by 14 points in Week 5, the Cleveland Browns head to Baltimore to face the Ravens, short McNair, only scoring 7 points in their last two AFC matchups over the last two weeks.  Having been Underdogs for 8 straight years, Anderson, now the favorite, looks to 'play it again', and continue its 4-0 run ATS in their matchups.  0-4 SU, 1-3 ATS in its last four in Baltimore, the Browns wil look to recapture the 2002 glory and their 14-13 upset.
ADVANTAGE BROWNS

11.16 If there was ever a week for Nolan, who have now lost Smith at the helm, to find any traction of the future, and 'play it again', it is here and now versus the St. Louis Rams; the SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS going an amazing 6-0 ATS in their last six matchups, including a 17-16 SU victory in Week 2 this season, will welcome the Rams to town with open arms. 2-0 SU, 2-0 ATS in San Francisco, even with Jackson powering one of his 100 yard rushing games here in 2006, the sprited San Francisco defense was able to guide the Niners to a victory on only 11 completions by Smith.
ADVANTAGE 49ERS

11.16 With Lynch potentially on the bench, the BUFFALO BILLS, who lead the NFL going 5-0 ATS in its last five games welcome the New England Patriots, who hit the headlines in 2007 after the 38-7 beating of the Bills in Week 3.  Even more troublesome for the Bills is Belichick's 3-1 run ATS off the bye week, including a 22 point victory here in 2006.  Since the shocking upset by the Bills in 2003, the Patriots are 3-0 ATS in their last three here by outscoring the Bills by over 21 points per game.
