Is Floyd really better than Ali and Robinson?
He might be one of the many best fighters in boxing history but if he wants to go the Ali path then he definitely has to fight more than Mosley or Pacquiao’s quality opponents. Ali is like Michael Jordan he was the greatest basketball player that revolutionized basketball into a global entity while Floyd is like Lebron James every time he produces a triple double or a 50 point scoring run many will say he is the next Jordan or he is greater than his airness eclipsing Michael’s 6 titles, 5 MVPs and a onetime defensive player of the year. The truth is we always tend to forget the old when a new one comes like a picture trap in a memory. Muhammad Ali gave us the Thrilla in Manila and Robinson’s 200 fight record are feats no other boxer can achieve to this day. Each fighter represents a different act or achievement like a distinct finger print in every person. Manny Pacquiao became the only boxer who won 7 divisional titles, Sugar Ray got the greatest record in boxing history going on a run of 128-1-2 with 84 knockouts while winning the world’s welterweight and middleweight championships while Muhammad Ali became the greatest ever boxer who fought several historic boxing matches and Floyd well Floyd is undefeated and won 6 championships in five divisional titles.
No Floyd you are not better than Ali or Robinson in fact there will be no one better than those two legends they fought and earn their achievement. As Muhammad Ali says “The man with no imagination has no wings…” well Floyd will just keep on dreaming maybe those tiny little wings will spread and learn to fly.
