Shane Mosley Will Be the Jewel in Floyd Mayweather's Crown

I know I am going to get bashed for this. I know that a lot of people are going to leave a comment about all the fighters Floyd didn’t fight.

That is all fine and dandy because I am going to prove you wrong. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not a ducker.

Of course he hasn’t fought everyone he could of. In recent boxing history, who has?

Everyone likes to point out who he didn’t fight. The problem with that is if you look at who he did fight, your argument will not hold up.

His wins over Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo (twice), Phillip N’Dou, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Juan Manuel Marquez prove this.

He has one of the best resumes in boxing today. That list doesn’t even include other guys who would be one of the top names on another fighter's resume.

Floyd has took the big fights over and over and has a Hall of Fame resume. He was at the top of the pond for pound list for a long time and deservedly so.

People love to compare resumes and if you do that with Floyd you won't find a better one. For fighters of this generation, Floyd sits at the top. I say that without a doubt.

Look at his last fight against Marquez. He beat the No. 2 pound for pound fighter and got nothing but hate for it.

Yes, Marquez is smaller, but Mayweather. dominated the No. 2 P4P fighter. How anyone can hate on someone for that is beyond me.

People also get on Mayweather for getting deep into fights and not having “tough” fights. Its just because he is so much better.

When your talent is so much better you make fights look easy. If Mayweather wins on Saturday no one can deny his place among the all-time greats.

Shane Mosley will be the crown jewel on Mayweather’s resume. If he wins this fight, all his haters will be silenced.
