Whenever the name "Paul Menard" is mentioned, it is usually associated with an on-track incident, or the fans debating why his dad would continue to sponsor his Nationwide and Sprint cup teams.

Menard, who only has one win, and 42 top-10s in the NASCAR Nationwide series, is currently having one of his best seasons driving the No. 98 Roush Fenway Ford in the NNS.

After seven races in 2010, Menard is sixth in Nationwide Series points, and is one of only four drivers to have completed all 1,397 laps of NWS action this season.

Menard will be featured as the Nationwide driver of the week on Saturday, when the NNS makes its next stop at Talladega Superspeedway during the Aarons 312.

"I'm honored to be Nationwide driver of the week and a full-time representative of the series,โ€ said Menard.

Menard also added that, โ€œIt is my goal to be competitive every week and ultimately win a Nationwide championship."

Nationwide will donate an in-car camera to Menard's 98 Ford Fusion for Saturdayโ€™s race and the driver will be featured on their social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
