Spring Game is upon us...

The Spring Green and White game is here. Finally..
The Count Down clock to the right can now be reset for the kick off of the first Fall game September 4 against Western Michigan.

This is the best event in the State, the weather is always beautiful, the air is fresher, the sky is brighter, and grass is greener in East Lansing. Best family event of the Spring Season.. itโ€™s a must see, must visitโ€ฆ Should be a great day for Football, and the attendance is expected to be high again this yearโ€ฆ

The drafts were held, and now published in different papers.. but here are some interesting picks:

White: Drafting group was Nick Bendzuck, Charlie Gantt, Greg Jones, Jon Misch and Josh Rouse, they selected Keshawn Martin as #1 pick. I noticed that also have:ย  Larry Caper, and Andrew Maxwell.

Green: Selecting was Mark Dell, J'Michael Deane, Marcus Hyde, Jesse Johnson, Chris L. Rucker and John Stipek. The first pick was QB Kirk Cousins as #1., with Kirk was drafted: Mark Dell, B.J. Cunningham and Joe Boisture.

Canโ€™t wait.. Iโ€™ll probably get up there by 11:00 or so, just so I can take in some of the E. L. ambiance as well..

Michigan State's spring game will be streamed live on www.bigtennetwork.com and replayed Sunday, April 25 at 5 p.m. on the Big Ten Network, with Jacob Bodnar handling the play-by-play, Otis Wiley providing color commentary and Mandy Piechowski serving as the sideline reporter.

The Spartan Radio Network, featuring veteran play-by-play announcer George Blaha, color analyst Jason Strayhorn and sideline reporter Will Tieman, will broadcast the Green-White spring game to eight affiliates in the state: WVFN (AM 730) in Lansing, WBBL (FM 107.3) in Grand Rapids, WBCK (AM 930) in Battle Creek, WGHN (FM 92.1) in Grand Haven, WBCH (AM 1220/FM 100.1) in Hastings, WDMJ (AM 1320) in Marquette and WLUN (FM 100.9) in Midland. The spring game also can be heard live on satellite radio: SIRIUS (Channel 91) and XM (Channel 197).

Saturday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. Parking is free (in Lots T-79, A-62, S-56, P-39/40, H-63 and M-66), and the stadium gates (Gates B, C, J and K) open at 12 p.m. Admission is free.

Get to Town early.. Seats first come first serve.. See you all there !
