2010 NFL Draft: St. Louis Rams Still Don't Know Who They're Taking
According to the NFL Network, St. Louis Rams GM Billy Devaney still does not know who he is selecting in 27 hours. You can have a look at the video here.
According to Devaney, it will be a game-timeย decision. He's going to look at his men and say, "It's onโtell me who you would draft."
Of course, no one on the NFL Network truly believes his story. The news team laughed his statement off, declaring that Devaney knows who he's taking and is just playing this thing out.

But what if it's true?
Let's remember that this is a football team that has traded, released, or failed to re-sign every defensive tackle it has taken in the first round in the past 20 years...much to the glee of its competitors. I can visualize this administration confused and arguing as the seconds tick away.
More terrifying than this scenario are the words of praise Devaney heaped upon Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen: "I went to his workout and it was awesome...absolutely awesome! We really think he is going to be a hell of a football player."ย
Doomed...we are all doomed...dread has come upon us all. Fire him quick, Mr. Kroenke, fire him quick!
Right now, we have to consider the commonlyย discussedย scenario where the Rams swap with Cleveland and select Clausen. Doomed...we are all doomed...dread has come upon us all. Fire him quick, Mr. Kroenke, fire him quick!
In other news, Jason La Canfora added to and strengthened his reports of the Steelers conversing with the Rams about a deal for the No. 1 pick. La Canfora reported last week that the Steelers hadย approachedย the Rams with an offer of Ben Roethlisberger and their own No. 1 pick in exchange for the absolute No. 1. This time La Canfora reports that the Rams rebuffed their offer. You can see the video here.
So what do you think? Are we going to screw up this draft?
