Buffalo Bills 2010 - 2011 Regular Season Schedule

Sean E. DouglasApr 20, 2010

If the Bills are going to compete this season, they need a good nose tackle and respectable play on the offensive line. While the defense should be solid, the offense is still in shambles and Marshawn Lynch is becoming a big disappointment.

Below we have the Bills 2010 -2011 regular season schedule for you to view as we inch closer to the beginning of the NFL season. We also have the fantasy relevant players for Buffalo, and a breakdown for all NFL teams in schedule strength in win/loss, against the pass, run, and points.

Where’s the Beef?

I couldn’t believe my eye’s as I watched the Bills organization take their offensive line from solid to pathetic throughout the 2009 offseason. It started with the trade of corner stone left tackle Jason Peters and finished with the release of Langston Walker just before the season began.

With so much change on the offensive line (all five starters were either new or changed positions from the year before) it was easy to see this team was doomed. Maybe a Peyton Manning could have brought this O-line together, but Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick were not up to the challenge.

Because of this and Marshawn Lynch going mentally A.W.O.L this team struggled offensively and will struggle again in 2010. It’s going to take a spirited effort by players like Fred Jackson to make this offense half way respectable.

Just Give Me a Nose Tackle and Aaron Schobel

Buffalo is changing it’s defense to a 3-4 style this season, but they don’t have a tackle that fits this type of defense. One would have to believe they will use a first round pick to get one this year, but they make go for offensive line instead.

Hopefully, the Bills can get a tackle that works for them and veteran defensive end Aaron Schobel decides to return. Schobel is a a solid player and a true hard worker that will be missed in his play and leadership if he retires.

Hopefully, Schobel comes back because he’s not that old and would help a defense make some noise. If the Bills are strong up front, they could win a decent amount of football games with close, low scoring finishes.
