Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon:Did Stewart Retaliate After No. 24 Punked Him?

al asifyouknowApr 19, 2010

I’m not trying to get something started here but the more I look at the replay the more I have to ask myself the question, was Tony Stewart retaliating or was it a racing accident.

That hard left reminded me of the one he did at Homestead against Montoya.

I honestly can’t tell if Edwards, who was behind the No. 14, bumped Tony and turned him into Gordon, is hard to tell, I guess only Edwards can answer that question .

Jeff Gordon did give Tony Stewart a good door slam that could of made No. 14 very unhappy and maybe in the heat of the moment, the sometimes not so level headed Stewart might of reacted with a hard left.

Again is just my opinion as I seen it, I may be totally off base here but given Tony’s history I think is a fair question to ask.

We can all agree on that, can’t we?

I have not seen any interviews or a print media quote where Carl Edwards has acknowledge he hit Tony and turned him.

I guess will see it in the next few days.

I hope Tony wasn’t retaliating, this wreck took lots of good drivers out and it may have ended chase hopes for many of them.

And as always this is just an opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I think God for that.

Enough said!
