New NBA Free-Throw Rule Explained

Brown,Worsham,Edwards #1 Qualifiers For SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series is in Las Vegas at The Strip for the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals this weekend. Hot and slick track conditions on Saturday caused teams and drivers fits as it was very hard to get down the race track but Antron Brown remains the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel. Del Worsham bumped Ashley Force Hood from atop the Funny Car ladder to take the #1 qualifier in Vegas for Al Anabi Racing. Mike Edwards remains the top guy in Pro Stock as he is #1 qualifier once again, something everyone has become used too. Final eliminations from Las Vegas can be seen starting at 7pm eastern on ESPN2 Sunday.

Antron Brown runs a 3.881 @ 316.60 mph and remains #1 as times carry over from Friday qualifying. Larry Dixon is qualified in second with a 3.894 @ 314.24 mph in his Al Anabi Racing Dragster. Doug Kalitta is qualified in third with Cory McClenathan in fourth and defending world champion Tony Schumacher is qualifed in fifth.

Del Worsham was the only change Saturday as he went to the #1 qualifying spot with a 4.187 @ 297.75 mph to bump Ashley Force Hood off the top spot from Friday. Force Hood is qualified in second with Matt Hagan last week's winner from Houston in third and Gary Densham and Ron Capps rounding out the top 5 from Funny Car qualifying.

Mike Edwards also remained #1 qualifier in Pro Stock as he ran a 6.687 @ 205.88 mph ahead of Ron Krisher and Rodger Brogdon who qualify in second and third. Allen Johnson in the Mopar and Greg Anderson qualify fourth and fifth. Anderson and Jason Line hope to do the sponsor well and win in Vegas being as the title sponsor is Summit.

Sunday will be hot and Sunny in Vegas, which drivers will get down the track and who will go home early find out from Las Vegas in the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals.
