Brown,Force-Hood,Edwards Lead Friday NHRA Qualifying In Vegas

Antron Brown, Ashley Force Hood and Mike Edwards were all #1 on Friday in there individual classes at The Strip in Las Vegas. Antron Brown was fastest at a 3.881 @ 316.60 mph ahead of Larry Dixon. Dixon looks to make it two wins in a row after a big victory last weekend in Houston.

Ashley Force Hood was fastest in Funny Car Friday, Force Hood ran a 4.195 @ 295.14 mph ahead of last week's first time winner Matt Hagan in the DieHard car. Hagan hopes to continue his winning ways in Vegas but the Team Force cars seem to be the cars atop the charts every weekend but anything can happen in NHRA Drag Racing.

Mike Edwards seems to be unstoppable, he seems to never be off his game and when he is he usually recovers for it. Edwards was fastest Friday in Pro Stock running a 6.706 @ 205.47 mph ahead of Ron Krisher. The Summit cars of Jason Line and Greg Anderson hope to do the sponsor well in Vegas can they hit the jackpot find out in the final rounds of qualifying Saturday and the finals on Sunday at 7pm on ESPN2.
