I wonder about the conversation during these great events pitting the rich, indulged, best golfer in the world against the people's choice, humanitarian, victim of cancer, second-best golfer in the world.
I will take Tiger Woods to win at Quail Hollow, warming up for a run at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach this summer. I know old habits are hard to break, so I hope he has a girlfriend at least during these stressful times, trying to catch Jack, and save the marriage, etc., etc., etc.
Tiger, there is no forgiveness for a dozen affairs, so move on buddy. Let's think about the iron play a bit more, and go practice chipping. She's getting the $78 billion so regroup and come out with a vengeance.
I used to play really well when i was especially tweaked about something. Take it out on the players, I'm still rooting for you to dust the field on a week-to-week basis.
It's Hilton Head this weekend, and my fantasy team is rolling. K.J. Choi was in first on day one, and maybe will be in first on day two as well. He needs a couple of birdies coming in.
Charles Howell III is also playing well, along with Heath Slocum and Tim Clark who are all tied for 10th just a couple shots out. These are my guys this weekend at the Heritage in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
I also think Tiger will show-up at the Players Championship, because of travel convenience and really, it being the fifth major in many golfers' eyes.
Anyone want to play a round in Southwest Florida, look me up.
Have a great week, and practice a few putts blindfolded...listening for the sound of the ball hitting the bottom of the cup. Great fun.
