Carlito: A Changed Man?

LewisApr 16, 2010

As I wrote my article on the Miz the other day about his promo, another segment on Raw got me thinking. That's right it's none other than the former United States and Intercontinental Champion Carlito, At this point in time you don't have much love for Carlito, maybe since his early start in the WWE around the year of 2004. These days Carlito is known for his bad attitude about his pro wrestling career. Although I am one of the few Carlito lovers left (maybe because we're both from the Caribbean) I choose not think like this because if he didn't care about his career he would notย have ask multiple times for a release.

Now onto this past monday. In a segment which featured two WWE superstars: Carlito and Vladimir Koslov, although i'm not a big fan of Koslov I still watched it. Carlito and Koslov exchanged words and below is a short bit on the conversation:

Koslov: At least you have competed tonight, i haven't been proper competition on Raw yet.

Carlito:you know what it is? It's this guest hosts, they don't care about us, they only care about themselves and i'm sick of it. This is my career, my livelyhood. If i don't get traded to Smackdown, i'll just quit.

Now weather WWE told him to say that or that was him. I'm hoping it's him because this shows some care, maybe this is the turning point of Carltio's WWE career. I'm hoping he can get drafted to Smackdown and be pushed on their. Lets face WWE must see potential in him because he was one half on the first ever Unified Tag Team Championships: Which have been hold by main event superstars: Chris Jericho, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and the big show. From this segmant on Raw we can now say Carlito cares somewhat a bitย about his career.

Maybe he might get drafted to Smackdown and get a push. I was one of the guys who expected big things from him. He is 31 so still get a push not like some superstars in the WWE who might only ever get one last chance. Leave comments please
