WWE Stars Injured While On Tour In Europe, Billy Kidman Returns Ringside

The Doctor Chris MuellerApr 12, 2010

While the WWE has been on tour in Europe it appears that a few superstars have been injured.

Ted DiBiase Jr. is said to have been busted wide open during a match with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. His injury required staples to close the wound on his head.

No word yet on how long this will keep the fortunate son out of action, but he will most likely make TV appearances until he is able to come back, as having staples in your head sounds worse than it really is in most cases.

Triple H is said to be suffering from nagging neck issues and as of this point is only scheduled for TV and PPV events. This is not surprising as he's always had some sort of injury bothering him.

Ezekial Jackson is also injured. I had forgotten he was even on the roster after ECW went off the air. I heard that he took a bad tumble out of the ring and had to be helped to the back by Billy Kidman.

Kidman is now a trainer for FCW, which is basically WWE's farm division. There have been rumors circulating that Kidman could be set for a WWE return some time in the near future.

Kidman found success in both WWE and WCW as part of their cruiserweight divisions. He was one of the 25 contracts acquired by the WWE purchase of WCW and became a staple of WWE's cruiserweight division.

Kidman was best known for his finishing move, the shooting star press, which he would often perform to both the inside and outside of the ring. He became notorious for his use of the move after he gave Chavo a legit concussion during a botched SSP.

If Kidman does end up returning, it would mean WWE would have a decent cruiserweight division again and we could possibly see the belt come back to life.

Update:  Since writing this article Matt Hardy has posted a picture on his Twitter account of an arm injury he received while wrestling overseas.  No word on how serious but it looked like a huge bruise more than anything.
