New NBA Free-Throw Rule Explained

"Broadway Knicks:Lebron Plays Majic"

William JacksonApr 5, 2010

It's the 2010-2011 season and Lebron James is the leading role in a re-make of Showtime. The presumable two time MVP is no longer a one man show playing at the Beacon Theater but on Broadway with a fantastic cast. His co-star would be the 5x all-star power-forward Chris Bosh, the most talented player he has played with yet. Supporting the dynamic duo would be the stunning third year 3-point shooting Danilo Gallinari who has begun to round out his game, a 6-8 sf/sg all-around tomahawk waitng to happen in Wilson Chandler and a defensive center ideally Brendan Haywood.

It would usher in a new era that all New York fans would gladly welcome after the decade of horror. Not only would it be the most spectacular team in the NBA, they could actually win. Lebron James has already shown that he could handle point-guard duties when both Mo Williams and Delonte West were out. He is also the closest to resembling Majic's play style and some would agrue that he is the more talented of the two(I believe he is).

While Majic would have trouble with faster point gaurds, Lebron is faster and quicker than most of the league. Lebron would be able to play off the opposing point and help whenever Gallo's hustle or Chandler's decent defensive skills aren't enough. Lebron brings a dominance in his game that would change any hustle and fundamentals into a contender worthy defense. With Bosh and defensive big in Brendan Haywood there would be litte issue facing opposing frontcourts until facing Dwight Howard. The length of the starting five would be outstanding with the smallest player being 6'8. They would alo be tremendous on the boards with all starters averaging more than five rebounds for the 2009-2010 season(Gallinari is a 4.9).

(Although Mike D'Antoni isn't Pat Riley, D'Antoni is an talented coach who would have arguably the best player in the league to run his offense. He would aslo have an all-star duo that has not yet gone into their prime.)
