McNabb traded to Washington Redskins
Yes its official Donovan McNabb has been traded by the Eagles for a second-round draft pick this year and a third or fourth round pick next year.
WOW. What an exciting Sunday night. The frenzy of the Draft is beginning. Yeehaa (wild cowboy-like gestures).
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported the news first as far as I know, and because I am his friend on Twitter, (yes yes I have friends- well kind of- well you know the Twitter kind-okay- not that many- do you want to be my Twitter friend?) I heard about it too. And then began a flurry of tweets about the trade. And suddenly I had the vision of how the draft is going to be. Tweeteriffic.

Its a win win situation for both teams right now and it seems that Andy Reid also traded with the Redskins because McNabb was happy to go there. McNabb reportedly said,”I am absolutely looking forward to this … absolutely. I’m excited about it, no question”.
I am sure he is. The Redskins and the Eagles are in the same division and are arch rivals, so here’s a chance for Donovan, just like Favre has done with Green Bay and the Vikings, to prove that he still has a lot of play left in him, right in the face of the enemy, so to speak.
And now the question lies what will Redskins coach Mike Shanahan now do with his fourth pick in the draft?
That’s one for tomorrow.
Cue : McNabb Mania Monday.
