Atlanta Beat Announces Final Roster

The Atlanta Beat just released their 22-player roster for the upcoming WPS season.  The roster includes 18 full-time players and four developmental players, including Blakely Mattern, Rebecca Nolin, Marisha Shumacher-Hodge and Mallorie Lofton-Malachi. 

The Beat’s roster lists players from a variety of backgrounds and experience in soccer. The roster consists of five international players, 10 players with WPS experience, 3 college stand-outs and several with experience abroad. Although the Atlanta Beat is a new expansion team, it is full of talented players who, having already performed well during preseason with a 7-1 record, are sure to be competition throughout this upcoming season.
