Webber Wins Maylaysian Grand Prix Pole

Mark Webber won the pole for the Maylaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit in a wild and wet qualifying session Saturday. The first of the three knockout qualifying sessions seen rain and it rained hard causing several drivers to get off track and not be able to post a quick time and thus they were eliminated. Drivers such as the defending world champion Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton all out in Q1. In Q2 and Q3 rain stopped and things never really dried out and in Q3 the rain got worse and continued to plague drivers. The qualifying session was wild at the end as Mark Webber jumped from 9th to pole and Nico Rosberg will join him on the front row for the Grand Prix on Sunday. Here is the grid for the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang which can be seen at 3:30am est on Speed and re-air at 11:30am on Speed.
