Kyle Busch Dominates Wins Nashville Truck Race
Kyle Busch dominated and went to victory lane for the first time in the Nascar Camping World Truck Series Friday night at Nashville Superspeedway. Busch held off a hard charging Kevin Harvick to take the victory and the first for his own team Kyle Busch Motorsports. Here is the race rundown from Nashville with finishing order and points.
Kyle Busch starts from pole alongside Timothy Peters on the front row, Busch leads lap 1 and starts to dominate from there and begins to lap the field early. Busch leads when the caution comes out at lap 32 for debris. The trucks come down pit road for pit stops and Busch is off first. On the restart Busch trys to hold off Ron Hornaday they battle hard and swap the lead a few times before Busch pulls away. Kyle Busch would have another contender come lap 78 as Timothy Peters would take the lead away in his 17 Toyota. Aric Almirola was the sole incident of the night when he lost control off turn 4 and spun on the front grass he still had a good night despite that. This race was the fastest ever completed at Nashville for the trucks and was almost incident free. Kyle Busch would hold off Kevin Harvick who made a hard charge at the end but just could'nt catch Busch and he took the win.
