Tim Tebow where will he go?

Is Tim Tebow the “Golden Boy” ?

For many many people who have been following Tim Tebow on the college football scene, he certainly is. He is the wonderboy that people love, the modern day hero, the guy that everyone wants to be. At a Tim Tebow autograph signing, one of his fans even proposed to his girlfriend with Tebow there at his side in front of 100’s of people. That’s love.

But when it comes to this years draft the story is looking pretty different. Some people feel he will go in the 2nd round, while others predict he will be late in the first round. Some even say he will go even later! Even though this guy is a two-time National Champion, and won the Heisman Trophy, which is the award given to the best player in college football. Wow- it seems amazing that even though you might excel in college football it really does not mean much when it comes to the transition to the NFL.

And there is just as much speculation over WHO will pick him. He has been doing the T-tour, travelling all over the country to meet coaches from different teams. Last week he was in New York State visiting the Buffalo Bills, and then he went onto to Boston to have dinner with the New England Patriots.

Its true that Tebow could do really well with the Patriots. Under Belichick’s coaching and Brady’s eagle eye, he could develop his NFL Quarterback skills and what better mentor could you have than the Brady/Belichick combo? He would definitely fit into the Patriots character type and Belichick has already made it clear that he really likes the guy. But that’s the problem. Some people feel that Belichick is smoke-screening.

After all the Patriots already have a great Quarterback and their focus needs to be on getting Brady some more playmakers around him in order for them to have a chance this coming season.

In the meantime Tim Tebow continues his tour (increasing the speculation as to where he will end up) visiting the Washington Redskins next week, again. However,the Redskins are also known for blowing smoke around the draft and general misdirection. They do need a QB but who knows if they are genuinely considering Tim.

Guess Goldenboy will have to wait 3 weeks to find out where he will be living next.
