Who Can Take Brock Lesnar's Title?

brett bruskyApr 2, 2010

Brock Lesnar, Unbelievable strength and a high level of confidence, although he does not have the best technique in the world, he'll probably never need it... he's HUGE! I personally hate everything he stands for but what ever!

Lesnar's much like a bully when he fights, he can land some power packed punches, and if it gets to the ground... Very seldomly will that change until the fights over.

Well then, he's got to have weakness right? Oh yeah, he has a few!

  • 1. Good Standup - If Brock's put into a position where he can't shoot for a take down against a good striker, he's dead in the water, and as far as I know we've really not seen him be hit too hard yet!
  • 2. Better Wrestler? - If there's any better wrestlers in the Heavyweight Division, PLEASE! Stand up, I want to see somebody take Brock down and rough him up a bit to see how he reacts, whether this is possible or not, who knows! ( is Cain Velasquez a better wrestler? )
  • 3. Jujitsu - We've already seen Frank Mir utilize his black belt in Lesnar's first UFC appearence to get a submission victory, Can somebody else do it again? or do we need a Giant Gracie

Alright, I have 3 solutions to this issue..

#1. Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski!

I want Andrei to come back to the UFC to face Lesnar! Andrei's a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and a damn good one at that! He scares the Jesus out of me, Arlovski has a good ground game and wrestling ability, combined with POWER! Main advantage would be on the feet due to Brock's inability to throw good combinations.

#2. Shane Carwin

No Nickname yet, but whatever! Shane's got in my opinion one of the best right hands in the Heavyweight division, and good speed, better than Brock's, I'm alittle "iffy" on his ground game vs. a man like Brock but.. maybe the fight won't last long enough for it to get there! I guess we'll know after the title fight.

#3. Cheick "Unstoppable" Kongo

Don't be alarmed, I'm not saying Cheick should just get an Autoshot at Lesnar if Carwin were to fail, but if he works his way up he'd be a lethal combination against him. Cheick has Height, Reach, Speed, and Technique over Brock Lesnar, and since dropping two in a row, is eager to make a comeback. If you watch him fight, he's much like a Giant Anderson Silva, without the Jujitsu.

Well then, Who's gonna' take Brock's title? I guess we'll just have to weight to find out!

Leave your comments, corrections, or your pick to take Lesnar's crown! thanks for reading.
