WWE RAW on Monday did a 3.66 rating off hours of 3.53 and 3.79, a 13% increase from last week. Here are some more details:

* The first hour drew 5.2 million viewers while the second hour drew 5.8 million viewers.

* The ratings were up 13% compared to last week with total viewership up 22%.

* RAW drew its highest male 18-49 rating since the January 4th RAW (3.35 to 3.37 on 1/4). If you remove January 4th, the previous high for RAW among the male 18-49 demographic was back on April 6th, 2009 (the night after WrestleMania 25) when they drew a 3.47 in that demographic.

While......

TNA iMPACT featuring a six-man steel cage main event (with the likes of Jeff Hardy, RVD, EricYoung  and the Wolfpact) scored a 0.6 cable rating, down sharply from last week’s 0.9 and their worst rating on Monday nights yet. (No Big Surprise here)

The following are the quarter-hour ratings for Monday's TNA Impact television show. The average TV viewership was a mere 813,000 viewers - a 30.1 percent decline compared to last week's 1.17 million viewers.

Q1: 0.50 rating - Jeff Hardy, RVD, and Eric Young and The Band promo

Q2: 0.54 rating - X Division tag team match

Q3: 0.46 rating - The Pope promo, Samoa Joe video, Orlando Jordan Segment

Q4: 0.61 rating - Tara vs. Daffney in a First Blood match

Q5: 0.62 rating - A.J. Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett

Q6: 0.64 rating - The end of Styles vs. Jarrett, Black Machismo vs. Beer Money

Q7: 0.53 rating - The Pope vs. Desmond Wolfe

Q8: 0.58 rating - Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson Promo

Overrun: 0.63 rating - Main Event steel cage match and Abyss' announcement

In other notes:

TNA president Dixie Carter posted a message on Twitter regarding iMPACT’s 0.6 rating, attributing it to the Shawn Michaels farewell on RAW: “Thank goodness he can only retire once…hopefully. Shawn, congrats on an amazing career.” (Sure Dixie, it's Shawn's fault that TNA got the worse rantings ever on Monday Nights)

Speaking of O.J. backstage reaction to the Orlando Jordan segment that aired on this past Monday’s episode of iMPACT! was largely negative amongst the wrestlers in the locker room.(Again no surprise) As some people have heard or Maybe not? Flair confronted O.J. BF in a bar where you can see my report on it here:

However...., sources say the two people who seemed to enjoy segment were Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo. People are saying that his character was inspired by female musician Lady Gaga.

My thoughts:

What can I say about It, that has not been, already said. Raw was good and a great retirement segment for HBK.

I would like to discuss TNA, aside from the O.J. segment and Black Machismo, TNA this week was not so bad. I actually enjoy it , though little by little they're fixing their problems. but they still have some major problems which need to be adressed soon or we could see TNA moving back to Thursday night again.

The problems:

1) The Roster is Overloaded!!

The solution: A new show on Thursday night or maybe on Tuesday so they can rival NXT

2) Get rid of the trash!!

The solution: Well they started by getting rid of Sean Morsly, The Nasty Boys but they still have a lot of useless people who are taking up valuable space and time from the wrestlers we actually care about. Some example are O.J., Bubba etc.

3) No more new wrestlers !!

The solution: Right now TNA is overcrowded . The last thing it needs are more people. What TNA has to do now, is work on pushing the talent they already have. Start by putting their homegrown talents in the right place.

4) No more Recycled Versions of legends!

The solution: I'm sick and tired of the recycled Flair, the Hulk Hogan Clone, and the  Macho Man 2.0 Wannabe . They should not try to copy, instead start create something new with their personalities and use them on some new character developments. We've seen it from Abyss. He is much better on the mic , however what ruins it, is, that he just coping Hulk. He should keep this atitude, but at the same time stop becoming just a cheap version. The  same goes for AJ and Jay Lethal characters, get original!!
