Len Pasquarelli, ESPN—While he notes that Suh has the makeup to be a special talent, Pasquarelli cites past drafts as enough reason to at least consider taking a defensive tackle at the top of the first round.

It’s hard to argue with some of the points makes, such as, “Indeed, the last franchise to win a championship with a first-round 4-3 tackle who was a Pro Bowl performer was Tampa Bay with Warren Sapp in 2002.”

Mike Mayock, ESPN—Believing Detroit will select the imposing lineman, Mayock thinks Suh won’t provide the pass-rush spark of McCoy but he could have the same type of presence Albert Haynesworth had for Jim Schwartz ‘s defense in Tennessee.

Scott Wright, nfldraftcountdown.com—Calls Suh a penetrating playmaker who can simply take over games.

He has Suh going to the Buccaneers No. 3 overall—one spot behind Gerald McCoy.

Walterfootball.com —Believes Suh is a better overall talent than McCoy but cites the Cornhuskers' knee injury as enough concern to claim McCoy as the safer pick.

Gregory Cox, nfldraftexpert.com—Thinks the addition of Corey Williams and Kyle Vanden Bosch to the defensive line are reasons supporting Suh going No. 2 overall. He mentions the Lions are on their way to possibly becoming the “Rock City Defense.”

Christ Steuber, Scout.com and NFLdraftpro.com—Believes Suh is the top overall prospect in the draft.  Believes he solidified the ranking after his dominant offseason workouts. Predicts the Bucs will grab him No. 3 overall.

Lou Pickney, draftking.com—Thinks Suh lined up next to Corey Williams will give the Lions an instant, dominating force on the inside.
