Target in 2010 Fantasy NFL Drafts
People are always asking who I am targeting in 2010 and what players I am reaching for early in the draft.
These are players I am going to be drafting earlier than your typical draft spot…
Ricky Williams: Ricky is not the best target in dynasty leagues, but for redraft leaguers looking for a very productive back in 2010 then draft Ricky. Ronnie Brown is having off-season issues and recovering from surgery. I don’t think Brown will be relevant until mid-season as he will still be recovering from his injury. In redraft leagues I am targeting Ricky in mid to late rounds.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Joe Flacco: Anquan Boldin is in town, Derrick Mason is back, and the Ravens WR core has all of the sudden become star packed and deep. I would expect Flacco to launch into the top 5 QB’s after the season is over and he can be had in the fourth or fifth round of your fantasy draft. He is an absolute stud in dynasty leagues as well and all the dump off passes to Ray Rice will only help his stats. I love Flacco in 2010.
Rashard Mendenhall: Mendenhall is the man now in Pittsburgh with Big Ben and Santonio Holmes having off-season issues. Pitt is a running offense and I expect Mendenahall to put up studly numbers in 2010. I would reach early for Mendenhall in 2010 and expect solid numbers which should be top 10 material.
Cedric Benson: Cincinnati is sold out for Benson; I have been singing Benson’s praises over the last couple years, if you have been following me you know I am a Benson fan. Don’t be ashamed to reach for Benson early; people laughed and ridiculed me last year for being so high on Benson, but I got him late in the draft and started him all year long. Put a little circle around Benson’s name on your draft guide and be sure to put him in your line-up for 2010.
Pierre Garcon: I am still sold out that Garcon will be a top 15 WR as he starts opposite Reggie Wayne for the entire 2010 season. Let the Super Bowl be an indication of the confidence Manning has in Garcon. People are letting Garcon slip in the draft and make sure you scoop him and start him in 2010.
Greg Jennings: Last year Jennings underperformed for his draft pick in 2009; don’t be scared to reach for Jennings in 2010 and expect top 15 WR numbers. Aaron Rodgers will be a throwing machine and Jennings should be more productive this year. He is not my favorite receiver on this list, but he will post solid numbers in 2010.
Michael Crabtree: Crabtree will play his first full season in the NFL and will have a complete off-season to get up to speed in San Fran. I am really excited to see what Crabtree can do with a full year in the NFL. I for one will be reaching for him early in 2010 dynasty drafts and hoping for top 20 WR numbers. He is my biggest roll the dice player on this list put has the most upside and could be a huge pick-up in your dynasty league.
Jermichael Finley: I have heard rumblings that people are worried about Finley becoming too successful so fast; that’s a bunch of bologna as he is legit. Top 5 TE in 2010 for sure; I have never been so confident in a pick performing and if you want to reach for a TE then reach for Finley. You can feel great about his potential as I am very excited about having him in my dynasty league. Pick, sit back, relax, and enjoy a great year from Finley.
Cadillac Williams: I picked up Williams extremely late in my expert league draft this year; people are sleeping on Caddy’s value in 2010. Expect over 1000+ combined yards 6+ TD’s and he is a PPR monster as well. One of my favorite later round picks of 2010.
