Is McNabb Really Worth Losing Nnamndi Asomugha? The Answer Is NO

        The complete NFL nation knows the Oakland Raiders need a QB. So  I can understand the McNabb move. I also know that McNabb would absolutely shine in Oakland. The Raiders have some good WRs, TE's and the backfield should love the holes that a good QB can provide.  

     Trade Asomugha for McNabb? Are the Oakland Raider serious? Asomugha is a weapon. He is basically the best at what he does and thats is to shut down corners no matter what WR shows. The Oakland Raiders are very close to perfection but part of that is because Asomugha keeps QB limited to one side of the field. 

   The Oakland Raiders should still go after McNabb but Asomugha should not be an option. I would say JaMarcus for McNabb and our second pick. Not the first  because McNabb stands to make a huge amount of money should he play for the Raiders. 

   Theres also Bruce Bradkowski. Bruce has performed really well and definitely has the energy needed for the game. But an opportunity to nab McNabb is just that , an opportunity. He does present a whole new Raider team.

   Regardless of who is in the QB the Raiders really need help offensively. The QB still needs time to plant. (Does anyone remember the Aaron Brooks Monday Night season opener a few years back. There was no offensive line, it was simply horrible. Picture McNabb in that same scenario.)

   The Raiders still have time to recruit another QB. There are more options than to offer Asomugha.  Asomugha should be kept because of his work ethics alone. He is the "real deal" and is the best CB out there. 

   The Oakland Raiders once released Charles Woodson and he still continues to play at the pro bowl calibur. Asomugha was on the team at that time also. Imagine what could have been.

    The Oakland Raiders also need pro bowlers other than a consistant kicker. Shane Lechler is the man, but honestly Raidernation wouldnt you rather have a DL, WR or CB make the ProBowl chronically. Well Asomugha has been that.
