Nascar,IndyCar,NHRA All Postponed Till Monday Due To Rain

Rain, Rain Go Away!!!

              The Goodys Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway was rained delayed Sunday until Monday at 12pm noon on Fox. The race was called Sunday after rain continued to fall throughout most of the day and eventually put a damper on Sunday racing.

              Also the IZOD IndyCar Series was washed out Sunday, the race was delayed in St Pete in Florida due to very heavy rains, thunderstorms and if you seen the live coverage on ABC the track had water standing everywhere and especially on the grassy areas. So the IndyCars will hit the streets of St Petersburg Monday morning at 10am on ESPN2.

             Finally the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series was in Charlotte, North Carolina for the first ever 4 Wide NHRA Nationals only to get through the first few rounds of Top Fuel and Funny Car along with Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Then the rains came, heavy rains and storms also moved through the area and caused the final rounds of Top Fuel and Funny Car to be postponed along with the remaining rounds of Pro Stock Car and Bike until Monday at 12:30pm on ESPN2 from ZMax Dragway in Charlotte.

So it looks like a busy raceday on Monday, too bad the weather caused so many issues this weekend but its the first time in a long time that i can remember so many races were delayed until at Monday.
