A Messy Play From The Gunners Against Birmingham

Merindha ArtyMar 27, 2010

I'd really like to apologize before I start if the writing turns up quite angry or doesn't make any sense because I'm in a very emotional condition right now. This 1-1 result against Birmingham really got me upset.

I am mad right now. I'm mad at everything. I'm mad at the referee. I'm mad at the Birmingham players. But mainly I'm just mad at Arsenal squad.

Their play tonight was just not good. It was bad actually. A lot of passing failures, terrible finishings, etc. And yes, they seemed unable to control the ball.

Also, this match really shows us that without Vermaelen and Gallas, Arsenal's defense is such a mess. And we're now cannot rely on Campbell anymore. He's old already, he's slow and temperamental. Why are we still play him? (But compared to Silvestre, he still win I know) And Birmingham's late goal was born because Clichy and Song seemed to lost their focus. So the defense guys really are bad tonight.

What happened to Bendtner actually!? One night he plays brilliantly and then he completely lost in the next match. And tonight he was such a loser! He seemed very hard just to keep the ball stick on his foot. It was very easy for Birmingham players to stole the ball from him. He also lost in a lot of air-battles tonight, what is the function of his tower-like body then?

And then Cesc, I don't know but he wasn't as good as usual tonight. Even though he created chances but still he couldn't turn them into a goal. One thing that I need to salute him for is to keep playing even when he got problem with his leg. But the miscommunication incident just worsened my mood.

Come on!!! We're in a tittle race with small point differences between three competitors and now this draw really dim the light of our hope. We're dreaming of beating Barcelona but we can't even win from a low-level team, Birmingham. This is really embarrassing!! AAARGGGHHH!!!!

OK, I think I've cooled down a bit.

I know actually that I can't blame Arsenal completely. After all, they made a beautiful goal and Birmingham really are lucky tonight. But I just hope that Arsenal could learn from this game and never do the same mistake again.

And I'm sorry because of this pointless writing that you might won't consider as an 'article'. I just want to take my feelings out. -_-"
