The main will be Canadian hero and welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St. Pierre putting his title on the line against Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy, the first British fighter to ever challenge for a UFC belt. In the co-main event, former heavyweight champion Frank Mir will square off against the powerful number one contender, Shane Carwin, for the interim championship. The winner here is likely to be the first to face Brock Lesnar upon his return from illness to unify the titles.
