McMurray Fastest In Happy Hour From Martinsville Speedway

Jamie McMurray was fastest in the Nascar Sprint Cup Series final practice from Martinsville Speedway in VA. McMurray in his #1 Mcdonalds Chevrolet for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing had a lap at 19.75 @ 95.869 mph ahead of Jeff Burton who is from South Boston, VA he also had a very strong car. Jimmie Johnson who has dominated Martinsville winning the last five out of seven races at Martinsville and won last spring was 16th in the first practice today and 9th in Happy Hour. The race is set for 12pm noon tomorrow on Fox the weather forecast calls for showers but hopefully we will see a great race from one of the best short tracks on the circuit.

Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth will be the front row as qualifying was rained out Friday. Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr both look very strong as well going into Sunday's race. Denny Hamlin has decided to have surgery for a torn acl this coming week as the series is off next weekend before they go to Phoenix on April 10th. That will be the first night race of 2010.
