Suggestions On How TNA Can Rebound and Get Ahead Of WWE

So TNA looks like its shaping up but it really has not improved in terms of getting attraction and widening their fan base. Alot of people has written their opinion on how TNA can better themselves from getting rid of the old guys (The Nasty Boys as the best example) to pushing talents like RVD and Jeff Hrdy.

Well I had created a list of how TNA can do better. And my list mostly focus on ideal storyline because looking back at WCW, it was the nWo that gained attention and fans where hooked with the WCW product. So a big storyline is what TNA needs.

This is me throwing out ideas and this is the best storyline I suggest TNA should think about.

1. Hulk Hogan in a You're Fired match

Lets see. Imagine a storyline where Hulk Hogan abuses his power (booking handicap matches in favor of heels, mocking fans, being biased towards faces) and then a rebellion happens but Hogan will make us believe he is untouchable. So he gets personal with another authority we fans think is better than Hogan (like maybe Foley) and they battle it out. Foley would change Hogan's pre planned matches and he would always be in an on screen argument with Hogan until Hogan agrees in a loser-must-be-fired match.

Personally this storyline is not gonna happen because of Hogan's inflated ego but if it does happen, think of the possibilities. This angle is pretty much like the Bishoff-Austin angle of the WWE where the rivalry was settled in Survivor Series where Austin was forced to give up his authority and retires.

2. A WWE mole

So since there are alot of former WWE talents in TNA's roster now. Let us say, a TNA original does a promo and accuses one of those former WWE stars as a WWE mole looking to steal TNA talents. So these stars try to prove themselves that they are TNA stars now and brawls each other, bad mouths WWE and does TNA original style matches (RVD vs Jeff Hardy please.) The roster would be divided and every week a superstar is accused of being the mole. Then in a PPV, the mole will reveal himself and he would be publicly fired on live TV and then Hogan does a shoot on how TNA and better and all that crap he does.

Now I know the angle is weak but if the storyline is done carefully and perfectly, the angle can be very entertaining. Then again no one would be fooled by this angle but hey, why not go down that road.

3. Kurt Angle as a monster heel

Kurt Angle as of now, is portrayed as the experienced wrestler giving his best to the young talents like AJ Styles. So why not let him go berserk (interfere matches, ankle locks people and squashes superstars even after the match is over). He turns heel after not getting a title shot, thinks he is being under appreciated and he becomes a monster heel. I'm talking about Sid Vicious type of heel or the scary Randy Orton Viper gimmick he is doing now.

I think this storyline is solid since turning heel is really a nice way to make superstars just like Edge, and Orton, even The Undertaker in his bad ass gimmick, so imagine a bad ass Olympian. Nice, isn't?

4. Mick Foley introduces extreme

There is talk of Heyman going into TNA, but I guess the rumor seems dim. So why not let Mick create Hardcore matches and not the bloody fights TNA is doing now. I'm talking about an X division style match incorporated in a tables match. But Hogan and Bischoff would disagree and tries to stop or interferes in these matches. So Foley encourages hardcore style matches and Hogan is against it, and they quarrel about it until it culminates in a match.

This angle is simple but I know for a fact, and i guarantee that if executed properly, this angle will work just fine.

5. Just make Hulk Hogan look bad

Put him in a storyline match and in the end, make him look bad. Just like Vince Mcmahon in his feuds with Austin and DX. People like to see the main authority be beaten up. I suggest Hulk Hogan kisses someones ass. Yeah, I wanna see that.

Well these storylinse are what I think is a great angle TNA can try. You can even keep the old guys in these fueds for all I care. (Just no more Nasty Boys, for god sakes let them retire.) But it all comes down to the execution of these stroylines that will help TNA.
