Kentucky CHOKES As Cornell Performs THE Heimllch

CORNELL will UPSET (name of the only horse to beat Man - o - War) Kentucky.  Why?  Three of the Wildcats four best players are FRESHMAN.   Yes, Wall & Cousins will compete for NBA rookie of the year, while the Bears seniors are STUDYING for graduate, law or medical school next year.  Wait!  Is Wittman not at least a second team All America?  Is he not one of college basketball's top ten players?  But never mind!

Wall will be the first to crack under pressure (I'll tell U later - read on!).   Dale is very cool & will get them over the hill.  Cousins will make a big mistake and as a result put his Foote in his ......  Patterson will get in more trouble than the governor of New York.  The real game to watch will be Wittman - who will guard him - Wall?  Kentucky & everyone else who follows basketball knows if the boys in blue can stop Ryan they can win the game .  

Most quasi normal basketball fans outside of the bluegrass state want Cornell to win.  Not just because Kentucky is second in NCAA titles or that they spend so much more than the Ithaca school but because none of the upstate NY team is on a basketball scholarship to school.  Players at Kentucky are recruited in the sixth grade or before.  Academics come first and are more important in college than sports.  But we are all hypocrites and idolize sport figures - like Egyptians with their false gods of gold.  So it would soothe our phony consciences if school REALLY came first.

This leaves us with the coaches.  Who would you rather live next door to?  Buy a used car from?  Babysit your children?  Donahue that's who!  Enter John Wall.   Kentucky leads when Coach Calipari wants him to sit with 6:42 left.  He goes bananas & starts CHOKING the coach until Cousins restrains him.  John Calipari will forgive the other John BUT, Cousins can't play because he strained his back trying to restrain Mr. Wall.   Game over!  Cornell wins and there is no school in Ithaca on Friday.  However, Cornell kids show up for class anyway because some professors & students think academics are more important.   The world is right - school is more important than sports.   Kentucky is so moved that they take six million from their basketball program for student academic scholarships and professor's salaries.

A victory for Cornell is a triumph for truth, justice and the real American way.  GO BIG RED!
