Forbes.com: The St. Louis Rams Make the City of St. Louis “Miserable”

Forbes.com recently released their annual โ€œAmericaโ€™s 20 Most Miserable Citiesโ€ column.ย  As always, given the subjective nature of the word โ€œmiserableโ€, the list should be taken with a proverbial grain of salt.

The usual suspects are all listed in column: Cleveland (please watch this), Detroit, Memphis, and of course, St. Louis.ย  Duh, what a slum.

While most of the cities are supported with complementary socioeconomic data, weโ€™d like to call attention to the โ€œreasonโ€ our beloved St. Louis is listed as one of Americaโ€™s 20 Most Miserable Cities.

The review board was really taken aback by our cityโ€™s gridiron squad.

Itโ€™s tough (read: impossible) to argue the horrific state of the Rams, but enough to label the entire city as โ€œmiserableโ€?ย  We demand a recount.

Sure, that vetting process may land us higher than #7 on the list once they probe deeper into our crime, public schools, and that perpetual odor of low-grade malted barley billowing from the Anheuser-Busch plantโ€ฆbut at least our existence on the list would be deserved.
