Forbes.com: The St. Louis Rams Make the City of St. Louis “Miserable”
Forbes.com recently released their annual “America’s 20 Most Miserable Cities” column. As always, given the subjective nature of the word “miserable”, the list should be taken with a proverbial grain of salt.
The usual suspects are all listed in column: Cleveland (please watch this), Detroit, Memphis, and of course, St. Louis. Duh, what a slum.
While most of the cities are supported with complementary socioeconomic data, we’d like to call attention to the “reason” our beloved St. Louis is listed as one of America’s 20 Most Miserable Cities.

The review board was really taken aback by our city’s gridiron squad.
It’s tough (read: impossible) to argue the horrific state of the Rams, but enough to label the entire city as “miserable”? We demand a recount.
Sure, that vetting process may land us higher than #7 on the list once they probe deeper into our crime, public schools, and that perpetual odor of low-grade malted barley billowing from the Anheuser-Busch plant…but at least our existence on the list would be deserved.
