Nicklas Bendtner Injured for Arsenal Clash Against Former Club Birmingham?

John SmithMar 25, 2010

Not much going on in the world of Arsenal. So obviously the media has fabricated this ridiculous story about our best striker injuring his ankle and being out for a substantial part of the season, just like they did for Robin van Per..... oh wait.

Anyway, the newest news is that Nicklas Bendtner has a twisted ankle and is in doubt for the game against West Ham. It is a real shame because he's been in great form and has been leading our line remarkably well in recent weeks: seven goals in seven games, with some assists sprinkled on top and all-around great play, particularly the aerial option he gives us when Manuel Almunia decides to do one of his retarded kickouts to nobody in particular.

It would be a shame if Bendtner didn't make the match against The Birmingers. I'm sure he wouldn't mind returning to his old stomping ground to bang in a hat trick. I know I wouldn't mind that. Would you?

Other slightly gayer teams

Wednesday night Chelsea did Pompey well proper.

The club going down went down 5-0, and David James decided to do a "Pro Evolution hold X and then tap A" fake shot, which allowed Didier Drogba to pick up four points for me in fantasy football.

Then it was just a matter of time before Pompey opened up the goal mouth and said, "Go ahead, work on your goal difference so you can beat Arsenal, who are wankers for giving us so many of their ex-players who managed to keep us in the league for so long and won us an FA cup."

Cheers, Pompey, cheers, Avram Grant (who gave me a lecture last year, and I probably learned more watching that 5-0 defeat post-match interview than I did in the whole five hours I listened to him speak in February last year.)

Anyway, time to work! UptheArse
