Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 3/23/10
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
JaVale McGee, Washington Wizards
McGee had a double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds) and a pair of blocks. He’s very inconsistent, though, and not really a player I’d be counting on in the fantasy playoffs.
Brandon Rush, Indiana Pacers
Rush had 20 points against the Pistons. He’s averaging 15.8 points and 3.0 three-pointers over his past four games. He’s got some use in daily leagues.
Tracy McGrady, New York Knicks
T-Mac had 15 points against the Nuggets. He has been in double digits in five of his last six games. He’s also a decent daily league option.
Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
Douglas had 16 points and 7 assists. He’s been rock solid of late, averaging 19.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 3.0 three-pointers in his last seven games. The only scary part is Mike D’Antoni’s rotation. It can change in a hurry, although the way Douglas is playing it’s hard to imagine he’d get pulled, especially since they are 4-2 in their past six games.
Rasual Butler, Los Angeles Clippers
Butler continues to provide solid numbers. He had 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
Drew Gooden, Los Angeles Clippers
Gooden continues to reward those who scooped him up when he went to the Clippers. He had 26 points and 20 rebounds.
