The BR Prediction League (Both TNA and WWE PPV's) Rules and Regulations
Hello everyone who participates on BR. My name is Joshua Logan and I run the BR Prediction League.
This was originally started by Callum Graham, but he has passed the reigns down to me.
The BR Prediction League is open to anyone to join. There is a point system, which means you should try to participate in every event.
There is no prize for winning, but you can walk away with the bragging rights over everyone else in the league by winning a singular PPV or by taking the whole league.
I will explain below how I grade matches by points.
I will also explain how the league works.
So the rules and regulations for this league are:
- Anyone can join the league. If you do not participate in 3 straight events you will be removed from the league. If after those 3 events you begin to participate again you will start with the least amount of points in the league.
- If you join in on the league late, instead of starting at 0 points and trying to catch up with the rest of the league, you will be granted the least amount of points in the league.
- Every Friday or Saturday before a PPV I will post the League. You may or may not get a reminder, so it is Your responsibility as a participant to be aware of the league.
- You must post your predictions before the start time of the PPV.
- The point system is based on correctly predicting winners on the PPV card. There will be bonus points this time around for winning a PPV and having the best win/loss record for the PPV.
- There is no prize for winning a competition other than bragging rights over being the smartest or luckiest person said week.
- Points for matches will be based on the type of match, the predictability of the match, the feud within the match, and if I feel it is an important match.
- There still will be an Upset Award, but it cannot be used on a match involving 3 or more competitors, two on two tag matches are eligible worth 2 points. Because of the changing effect of the Upset Award on last years league, it will now be worth 2 points instead of 5. If there happens to be more than one match to gain the Upset Award, then both matches will receive more points.
- To further explain the Upset Award, the points will be rewarded to the participants who predicted the least predicted match.
- There still will be bonus questions worth anywhere from 1 to 3 points.
- In Triple Threat or Fatal Four Way matches there will be 2 or 3 points awarded for guessing the winner correctly, 1 or 2 point for guessing the loser, and 5 or 6 points awarded for getting them both correct as an added bonus.
- No match will be worth more than 6 points including bonuses, and 5 points will only be awarded to matches that are of great importance(again this is kind of just my opinion of matches).
Every week the rankings will be updated here and on that weeks results page.
