The Successor of Triple H: Sheamus?
One wrestler today in the WWE stands out as being the heir to Triple H: Sheamus.
It will not surprise the reader to know that The Game is friends with him and is actively helping his protégé both in and out of the ring. However the issue of whether or not he is good enough is questionable.
Despite the fact that he is a former World Champion, I cannot help but think that the talents of Sheamus are rather limited. His brand of aggressive brawling together with relatively poor mic work leaves him with little opportunity to develop as a character.

In order to survive, Sheamus, like Goldberg in WCW, needs to look infallible. His defeat of John Cena at TLC together with the fact that he held the belt for two months helped to create the image of an instant main event superstar.
However, just as with Goldberg, streaks seldom last.
Defeat last month at the Elimination Chamber has suddenly made his character look vulnerable, which makes his match with Triple H at Wrestlemania all the more interesting.
History shows that once a dominant superstar loses for the first time, they have to quickly re-establish their credentials either with a new angle or approach.
If Triple H beats his protégé at Wrestlemania, it will surely have the effect of relegating him to the mid-card alongside other forgotten stars like Matt Hardy, Kofi Kingston, and Christian.
A win for Sheamus means that the torch will pass from the cerebral assassin to the Celtic Warrior. However with such limited ability, will the Game really sell his career for someone like Sheamus? This is perhaps why many are calling the match at Wrestlemania simply a squash match.
What can Sheamus do to impress the wrestling world, to justify having such a speedy rise in the WWE? Is he really the heir to Triple H?
Or maybe it is another superstar that is destined to fill those boots, a certain Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre?
