I think that Gonzaga got the worst shake in terms of seeding in the tournament. After losing a ton of talent from last year’s squad they had a very good regular season spending most of it as a ranked team. Then they lose the conference championship game and all of a sudden they are an eight seed.

I don’t think so. Moving on..the Bulldogs have one of the great winners in the current game in Matt Bouldin and a better than expected supporting cast led by freshman Elias Harris. This team backs down from nobody and even though they play in the WCC they have faced and beat better teams than Florida State.

Once they boot the Seminoles they will have to tangle with #1 Syracuse which is why this seeding is so unfair.

The Seminoles had a very nice season in the ACC. They play off of their defense which was #1 in the country in FG% defense and has Soloman Alabi as an eraser on the back line.

He is still pretty raw offensively but led the team in scoring at only 11.6ppg. They need him to be more aggressive on the boards. At his size he should be leading the ACC in rebounding. He isn’t even first on his own team.

To have a hope against the Zags they will need to play one of their best games of the year. Gonzaga can score it and has size to bother Alabi and his basic offensive repertoire.

I just don’t see FSU getting it done but this is a team to watch next year.
