Wrestlemania X-Seven....Why So Special???

With all the great and classic Wrestlemania's that have been displayed over the years, It is X-Seven that 99.9% of all WWE fans believe is the one true standout event. If you are reading this i strongly feel This event is your favourite or atleast in your top three.But why? What is the reason that so many of us go out and spend are hard fought dollars on a copy of Wrestlemania 17. What are the reasons we all remember that day in Houston and why is it talked about so greatly.

      1.Great Openers:- Every single Mania must have a good or be it reasonable Opener. If not the fans Struggle to get into the evnt.They get the fans excited and ready for the big matches. Jericho and Regal done this wonderfully. It wasn't great or amazing but it did get the fans cheering. I've watched it a couple of times and it definetly produces a smile on me. Every Mania needs a good opener or the event of the year gets a sour start.

      2. Hardcore Title:- Oh how we miss it. With WWE and their new PG status the days of fire and thumb tacks are in the past. This Mania featured a triple Threat Match with lots of great moments. To be honest WWE miss this. There not classics to watch or the most mat based matches ever but they excite the crowd. When i put my X-Seven disc in i always look forward to this Match. I mean common everyone likes a bit of blood.

    3. Angle vs Benoit.....A technical Showdown:- Wow this match was good. In 2004 even the WWE Wrestlers voted it there 10th greatest Mania match and it wasn't even close to main event. These two were great mat wrestlers and put on a clinic in how to perform pure wrestling. There is no great technical wrestlers in WWE today and that upsets me, These matches were always great. This could have been Main event on any over card.

     4. Use of Talent:- At Wrestlemania 17 wwe put on a match that involved two non wrestlers and i for one loved it. What am i talking about.........Shane vs Vince Street Fight. This one was great because it was really personal and just gave us memorable match without using much talent. I realise Mick Foley was there and so was Trish but who doesn't wan't to see a cat fight between Trish and Steph.

      5. Tag Team Mayhem:- Were have they gone, now the Tag Division is left in the past and just thrown at the pointless wrestlers. We wan't more TLC Triple Threat Tag Matches. This one was amazing, even if it wasn't better than the Triangle Ladder Match it got the fans into a frenzy. This year i'd love to see Edge spear someone of a hanging belt. But atleast we can dream about the days it happened. In this amazing Match.

     6. Legends:- One word.............Legends. Us fans see them walking down the isle and we erupt with joy. Throw 20 odd into a ring and what do we get......A Wrestlemania X-Seven Gimmick Battle Royal. This wasn't fancy,clean or mind-blowing. It was a bit of fun and gave some old fans a little bit of pleasure seeing their past hero's. Why not????????

      7.:- That one Rivalry:- Hell Yeah i'm talkin about Rock vs Austin. Many people consider this one of if not the Greatest rivalry of All time. Put it the biggest event, add a NO DQ and give a shocking ending. BOOM you've got a killer Match. This was great and fast and had you off your seat the whole damn match. Vince Give us another Main event event ike this again.

That's why we love WrestleMania X-Seven. Oh and i didn't even mention HHH vs Taker or half the other matches. Vinnie Vinnie Vinnie............we wan't another Mania like this, we wan't another Era like the Attitude era!!!!
