Have you ever had the chance to construct your own NFL team? I don't mean to come off as a know it all, but hear me out for a moment. Do you really think Mike Bell is the answer to Philadelphia's woes at the running back position?

I mean, he's consistently injured. He'll have a few 100-yard games here and there. What is Philadelphia's organization trying to do? Before showing interest in Bell, the Eagles passed on running backs such as Thomas Jones, Larry Johnson, and LaDainian Tomlinson.

My only message to the front office is that if you say you are doing everything in your power to bring home a Super Bowl, then take players that can bring you those results.

Yes, Mike Bell was on a Super Bowl team in New Orleans last year. But I'm sure you will agree he wasn't the deciding factor in the Saints winning the championship.

It's like saying Dave Semenko from the Wayne Gretzky era was the reason why the Edmonton Oilers were a dynasty.

I see another year of disappointment coming up in the running back position for Philly. I don't mean to be pessimistic, but please understand that this potential acquisition of Mike Bell is just a waste of salary space.
