Today Topic:

Does TNA need a new show ? Will it happen?

I cant answer that question but I can share with you all my findings and thoughts on this.

First of all TNA would need a open time slot for the show, that where this report from  PWInsider.com comes in:

PWInsider.com confirmed Friday that iMPACT's replay averaged a 0.97 rating with 1.3 million viewers, marking a very minor decline from Monday's original airing (0.98, 1.4 million). While there have been past instances of a TNA iMPACT! replay generating a strong number, never has retention from the original been 99% in the cable household number and more than 90% in total viewers.

This is great news for TNA because it shows that people wanna continue to watch wrestling on Thursday nights.

Also reported from PWInsider.com:

TNA was internally concerned that such a high volume of viewers tuned into Thursday's TNA iMPACT! replay, fearing that the Thursday showing cut into the Monday audience. TNA President Dixie Carter Tweeted, "TNA iMPACT! will NOT re-air on Thursdays. If you can't watch LIVE Mondays 9-11pm ET on SPIKE, please DVR it. PLEASE RT."

I think this is a bit paranoid of Management but when you going against the beast that is WWE I cant say I blame them for wanted every viewers they can get.

When I read this I thought to myself so... they have a night time slot open and there a large audience out there who will continue to watch wrestling on Thursday nights.

Maybe it me but this would be the perfect opportunity to green light the making of a new show in TNA old time slot.

Not only could they advertise Monday Night TNA but with a new show they could fix one of there biggest problem of having way to many talent and not been able to use them properly. Another mayor problem is the X-Division, has you all know the X-Division is crap right now but little by little it getting better a good example been last night Impact.

So for me it obvious that they should make a X-Division show that way more talent can get paid at the same time we can enjoy more TNA wrestling each week. They could leave TNA flagship for the tag team division, Knockout division and Heavyweights division and use the X-division wrestlers to start the show off like WCW did with the cruserweights.

Dixie has said in the past few months that a new show was in the works but rumors has it that would be a X-Division show or a Talk show (obviously The Spin Cycle)

It would be the best decision they could do since signing Hulk Hogan. True be told the wrestlers need the money and TNA need to do something more to help the X-Division to return it glory days. And most important of all it could give the wrestlers in the back the feeling of Hope they need to continue this war. (This is the reason for the hope picture)

So what do you think readers ?

Does TNA need a new show?

If you think they do

What kind of show do you think they should do ?
