Free Pick: Richmond vs. Temple Under 115 (Jimmy Boyd)
Plays Under on neutral court teams where the total is 129.5 or less, Richmond in this case, after going over the total by 30 or more points total in their last three games, in March games, are 78-37 the last 5 seasons, including 8-2 this season. The Under is also 5-0 in the Owls’ last 5 neutral site games and 5-1 in their last 6 overall. In the season’s first meeting, the total was set at 116.5, but the two teams combined for 125 points as Richmond shot an amazing 57.8% from the field. I don’t expect that to happen again here. As a result, we should see a low-scoring defensive battle play to the Under.
Free Pick: Georgia Tech +9.5 (Craig Trapp)
Duke is just not great away from home going 7-8-1 ATS away from home whereas GT is 9-6-1 ATS away from home. GT had a much tougher road to get to this point pounding UNC, Maryland and NC State. Duke really had a much easier road playing Miami and Virginia. GT might have more talent, better athletes, and a deeper bench. Duke does have better shooters and better coaching. This one is going to be close and no way Duke wins by double digits.
