The Riddler Report: WWE: Is Drew Mcintyre a Failer? (Opinion)

Drew Mcintyre

A few months ago we saw the debut of Drew Mcintyre on SmackDown been hand pick and sign by Mr. Mcmahon or so the storyline goes. Has time past Drew beat jobber after jobber not doing anything really impacting and not showing any real promise has a future superstar. Then came the time where Drew could show his skills off against a real competitor in John Morrison for the Intercontinental Championship. No surprise to me it was not a amazing match pretty average and we saw a new champion in Mcintyre. So we saw John Morrison get his rematch and lost twice against Mcintyre. Leaving for bigger and better things has some people said (how is teaming with R-Truth bigger and better things is beyond me but that a topic for a another time) Oh and to remind everyone to this point Mcintyre is till undefeated in the WWE. After Morrison Drew next short feud would be with the monster jobber Kane. After a couple of not so great matches against Kane Drew continue his mediocre rein has IC champion. Two weeks ago in a M.I.T.B. qualifier match against Kane (another mediocre match) we saw Kane kick Mcintyre in the face for a lame finish to his first lose in the WWE.... or so we thought. A week ago SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long told Mcintyre that Mr. Mcmahon threw out the lost in the record books (I guess Mcmahon really is a wrestling god) and Drew continue to be the undefeated IC champion. That same night Drew was giving his second M.I.T.B. qualifier match this time against another jobber Matt Hardy. And yet against another mediocre match from both men and in a *upset* Matt Hardy beats Mcintyre so for the second time in a row Mcintyre is defeated by a jobber (what a champion!) So this week on Monday we saw Mcintyre do his master bidding by beating the crap out of John *superboring* Cena and got yet again get another M.I.T.B. qualifier match against a mystery opponent of Mr. Mcmahon choosing and yet again his lost was taken out of the record books so he till the undefended IC champion.

For does of your who did not see SD this week your probably wondering who was his mystery opponent. Well... it was a another jobber (OH MY!) but this time at least it was different he was some local wrestler/MMA figther. No surprise to me Mcintyre won the match less that a minute and will be the last man to join M.I.T.B. match in WrestleMania.

I sum up my long history lesson with one word....  BULLSH!TH!!!!!!!!

This have to be some of the worse booking I seen in a while in the WWE (I don't say in general cause TNA booking is a lot worse)

So sum it all up Mcintyre (like Sheamus) have done nothing to earn my respect, catch my attention or even earn there spot and championships.

Has we all know the titles in the WWE have lost there honor and even there importance and with booking like this I don't see it changing any time soon.

I mean there not a IC match in WrestMania!

If so many year ago at WrestleMania III when Ricky *The Dragon* Steamboat went against Macho Man Randy Savage for the IC in a legendary match it would break his heart to know how un-important the tittle would become. The tittle use to be use to elevate in there road in becoming big stars like Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold ect the list goes on. Now reduce to a joke compare to it former glory.

So to end the show my final thoughts are I don't see Mcintyre really becoming anything more that a future jobber after this lame storyline passes over and I really hope the WWE start respecting there tittles and start making storyline that revolves  around the tittle and not some lame story or wrestler.
